To All the First-Time RAP Users Who Are "Frustrated & Confused"
Do You Feel Like You're Drinking From A Firehose ... When All You Really Want Is
To Get Your Product Set Up and Making You Money?!?
Here's the thing about Rapid Action Profits
-- it's a robust, feature-rich, one-stop product management
system that can handle anything from basic sales and giveaway offers ... to JV and/or
affiliate commission payouts, and everything in between.
And I mean... EVERYTHING!
The problem with being SO GOOD is that sometimes, the basics get left behind
...and so do you.
All you want is to get your product set up quickly
...so you can start selling TODAY!
The other side effect of being good is that often, supplemetary products are
created to compliment the original one. Case in point -- there's already a growing
arsenal of RAP tutorials and videos. But the truth is, most of these are created
by veteran RAP users who are used to thinking like a master marketer and
not like a newbie.
For example, in my early attempts
to figure out my RAP setup problems, I bought every tutorial that
came out on RAP, only to discover that none of them elaborated on the specific problems
I was having with understanding how to edit optin forms with the templates provided,
and how to use the Auto Opt-in feature.
I'm talking about, knowing how to
specifically apply Auto Opt-in to pass data to an external
autoresponder and understanding:
- Which template can be used with or without Auto Opt-in
- How the Auto Opt-in form code is different from template optin code
- Which tokens get replaced by URLs
- Which tokens are hidden
- Which tokens remain
- When or if I need to use Auto Opt-in at all
As a new RAP user, I was also uncertain about knowing which template was the most
effective for basic sales, giveaways, landing pages, or any combination of these.
None of this stuff is complicated (now that I
understand it). But in the beginning, it was all piecemeal.
The RAP manual is very thorough but in some places, it's ambiguous enough to be confusing. And confusing enough to keep me from getting the most mileage out of it. I found myself spending
way too much time in the forum.
I don't know about you but, I don't enjoy being remembered for asking so many 'dumb'
questions.
Now that I understand it,
I can take the guesswork out of RAP for You
I've kept the Abridged Field Guide To Rapid Action Profits SIMPLE by using a "snapshot" layout for basic sale and giveaway
scenarios -- including only three basic concerns:
- Strategy (What I want to accomplish)
- Templates Required
- Process (Specific dashboard settings)
These are the basic things I look at when setting up my own products. And I'm careful to record
the EXACT steps for EACH scenario ...to the point of redundancy, so that there's absolutely NO CONFUSION when I come back with a new product (and a forgetful mind) some time down the road.
At the end of the day, my excessive note-taking not only cemented my understanding,
but gave me a framework of reference for returning at a later date and simply checking
off settings as per my notes!
Easy peezy!
This guide is as much for ME as it is for YOU.
And it's NOT just for newbies; it's for veteran marketers as well.
If you are a newbie, I give you a
detailed step-by-step outline for basic sales and giveaway settings.
If you're an expert, consider this a
cheat sheet, or a memory jogger for the next time you want to set up a product with RAP.
It sure beats having to thumb through the 119-page manual, or searching through the forum every time!
Newbie or veteran ...sometimes we just need a little extra clarification to get past the fog.
That's exactly what the Abridged Field Guide To Rapid Action Profits
does
...it clears away the fog.
I'm not going to hype this up by making it sound like you can't get going without
this Field Guide. The truth is, it's NOT a necessity for making Rapid
Action Profits work. It IS however, a major breakthrough in tutorial overkill --
being the most simplistic instructional format for any application
outside of a text book!
"A RAP Field Guide For DUMMIES"
If you're the least bit confused about which settings to use for basic sales
or giveaway scenarios, or ... if you're not sure what the Auto Opt-in
feature does or when to use it, or ... what the autoresponder form code should look
like for different squeeze pages, or ... when/how you can pass customer data to a
non-RAP autoresponder...
The Abridged Field Guide to RAP
Clears All That Up Once And For All..!
The only questions left to ask is ...how badly do you need the Abridged
Field Guide TO RAP, and ...how much are you willing to pay for such an animal.
I obviously can't determine your need but I CAN help you with the price -- which is
why there isn't one. :)
For all the help I've received in the forum and from (repeatedly) reading between
the lines of the pre-existing manual, how can I possibly charge for this?
Oh, I suppose I could charge for the time it took to compile the information in an
at-a-glance format. But like I already said, I did this more for myself than for "product creation."
The bonus for me would be knowing that others find it helpful enough to finally get
their own RAP products up and running. Warm fuzzies for me... no-brainer for you!
